About me

I work with terracotta, designing and creating decorative and utility ware, bringing a playful approach to materials typically used for bricks, tiles and plant pots.

My background’s a mix of wild countryside, the art world and community action. On my travels I’ve gained an interest in the way that objects tell stories - about materials, makers, and use over time.

The pottery process is slow and precise. I counter that with an expressive use of slip and texture and the result is work that wants to be picked up and handled. Everything I make is intended to be part of day to day life.

All of my pieces are unique. They’re made in small batches in a communal studio in south London and are packaged and sent out by hand.
